“Hi all,
I'm Andrea Volpini, I was born in 1966, I live in Rome and I do windsurfing 1979.
I started doing regattas in the Windsurfer class in 1982 and from 2004 I approached the Formula and now I have curiously accepted the invitation to become your correspondent from the regatta fields in the hope of being able to transmit as much as possible the emotions and atmosphere of a world, that of regattas, that to many may seem complicated or too technical but that instead gives many moments of friendship and sharing.
And’ that was precisely why I returned to racing after a break due to the decline of the Windsurfer class due to the lack of importers of the glorious board: the emotion and adrenaline that competitions generally give and being able to meet athletes from various parts of Italy and the world, friendships united by the common passion for our fantastic sport!
I will try to accompany you in the world of windsurfing formula while trying’ to demit the difficulty of racing with rigg and boards of so large size. Don't expect me to technical on fins, tables or miscellaneous devilry, I hope instead to be able to intrigue you to visit us and challenge us on the regatta fields!
Aloha…

They say about him: “Andrea Volpini and’ one of the most respected windsurfers in Italy. IS’ a person of great thickness and low profile whose results begin with the history of this sport. Windsurfer class champion, discovers the fw around the 2003 -2004 and in a short time he becomes one of the most regular racers present on the national regatta fields. He doesn't even fail to take part in a couple of international winds a year. IS’ vice grand master world champion 2012. It stands out for its correctness, sportsmanship’ and kindness.”
