iQFOiL European Championship 2023 in Patras: D6

14/05/2023 – On the sixth and final day of the iQFOiL European Championship 2023 in Patras, in Greece, The Medal Races were held.

NICOLO' RENNA graduates European champion iQFoil 2023!

After last year's silver in his home waters in Torbole, today he competed in the heart-pounding medal series., moving on to the photo finish grand final with Goyard.

The first start of the final was anticipated for Kiran Badloe and Nicoló in the next start flew always in the lead, winning ahead of the German Koerdel with over 20 knots of wind.

In the iQFOiL W category the Norwegian Mina MOBEKK wins. Italian women have the following positions:
- Marta MAGGETTI (SVGdF) 16but
- Giorgia SPECIAL (Gold Flames) 36but
- REINDEER Sofia (CS Torbole) 49but
- COLASANTO Carola (Tognazzi MV) 64but
- OPRANDI Linda (ASD Kalterer) 68but

In the iQFOiL M category wins the Italian Nicolò RENNA (Gold Flames) ahead of German Sebastian KOERDEL. Other Italians have the following positions:
- Daniele BENEDETTI (SV GdF) 23MO
- Luca DI TOMASSI (SV GdF) 29MO
- MODENA Manolo (CS Torbole) 40mo and vice-champion European UNDER 21 iQFoil to Patras (3º U21 overall)
- PILLONI Federico (YCC Smeralda) 48MO
- TOMASINI Leonardo (CS Torbole) 83MO
