Unfortunately Ceri lately was suffering from a bad bad but he, to the last, until his body allowed him, continued to work undaunted for windsurfing.

“With great sadness, IWA announces yesterday the untimely death of our very special and protagonist friend, Ceri Williams, following a short and hard battle with his illness. Our thoughts go out to his beloved wife Teri, to his children Ross, Aaron and Scott and his grandchildren.
Ceri is remembered for his great friendships, his unmissable work ethic, his generous smile and his willingness to always go beyond the call of duty. He was selfless, every time, even making difficult decisions in the best interest of many windsurfing constituencies.
