Conclusa la Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge 2022

During the month of the Luderitz Speed Challenge at Punto Diaz in Namibia and’ the first session was recorded above 50 knots on average over 250m.
Vincent Valkenaers has reached the incredible speed of 50,46 average knots on 250m = 93,45 km/h and 98,12 km/h top speed and won the third period of the Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge 2022 setting new limits.

Second place goes to Twan Verseput with 49,17 knots on 250m = 91,06 km/h and in third place the Dutch speed record holder Hans Kreisel with well 48,73 knots = 90,25 km/h.

These are the main reasons why Bjorn and his Windsurf Center Team in Gran Canaria have been organising the Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge for now. 7 years.
The concept of the online format is proving its potential and will stay longer in addition to upcoming live-speed events.

In the women's classification Heidi Ulrich runs like a Swiss watch, Not just getting a new women's world record, but consistently won all three periods of the event.
Now it has reached an incredible speed of 40,64 knots on 250m = 75,27 km/h, 43,8 max nodes 2 seconds= 81,12 km/h

The second position goes to the PWA rider and women's world speed record holder on Foil Blanca Alabau from Tarifa/Spain with an extraordinary 36,65 average knots on 250m = 67,87 km/h.
Third in the ranking of the event the Belgian Rocket Marie-Paule Geldhof with 35,38 knots on 250m = 65,52 km/h

Florian Madec has reached 36,03 Medium knots 250m on foil! (66,73 kilometers per hour)

In the U18 category Brendan Lorho gave everything and won with an extraordinary 37,37 average knots on 250m= 69,21 km/h
After him Quinten Joosten with 36,64 knots on 250m and in third position Lisa Ponsteen with an impressive 34,98 average knots on the 250m session.
