20/05/2023 – On the second day of Défi Wind 2023 the 1.400 registered riders were able to take part in two new heats thanks to a Tramontana still sustained beyond the 20 knots and with gusts at 25 nodes.
Yesterday's foil winners, Nicolas Goyard and Justine Lemeteyer, have tried to replicate their result even today.
Among the men Nicolas Goyard there is’ successful, followed by Johan Soe, Thomas Goyard, Bruno Martini, Henry Madsen, Antoine Albeau and Amado Vriswijk.
Among women, today the victory goes to the Dutch Sara Wennekes (66but absolute), followed by Delphine Cousin (78but) and Justine Lemeteyer (86but).
In the fins ranking Jordy Vonk ranks 1st (17absolute mo) between men and Tess Sermet (272°) dominates the women's ranking.
After lunch the third test is launched with initially a wind between the 20 and the 25/28 nodes.
During the course of the test the wind increases and exceeds 30 nodes.
Nicolas Goyard takes his third consecutive victory followed by Pierre Mortefon, Bruno Martini, Thomas Goyard and Johan Soe.
Jordy Vonk ranks 14th, still first in the ranking with the fin.
Justine Lemeteyer (83but) returns to the women's command, followed by Alice Read (90but) and Blanca Alabau (104but).
On Marine Hunter fin (248but) comes first among women.
The overall ranking sees Nicolas Goyard male leader, ahead of Johan Soe and Thomas Goyard. Among women, Justine Lemeteyer remains first followed by Sara Wennekes and Blanca Alabau.
