The NeilPryde Racing Series is back with the first official event of Foil, to be held between the 18 and the 21 May 2017 and attended numerous craft foil, including the RS:X and the CR:X convertible in the famous “Foiling Bay” La Baule in France. The RS Convertible is a One Design equipment of the WindFoiling Class, consisting of two categories: RS:X and RS:One Convertible.
Both facilities are able to run in 2 mode (mode 1: foil and method 2: fin) with the same Board and sail. The RS: X Convertible convertible equipment is characterized by the use of the latest technologies available in the industry. Foil and fin 100% carbon with a 7,8 for men and 7,0 for women; all riders use the same equipment. With the RS: X Convertible, the windsurfing can now “fly” with Breeze and go from stronger wind conditions.

The development was entirely made in France by experts including the three-time world champion RS: X and Olympic silver medalist, Julien Bontemps, the winner of foil, Benjamin Tillier and French slalom champion Damien Le Guen. Two windy days will enable the class RS: Convertible to test its new format before the two big events: the European and World Championships, laid down respectively in July in Penmarc'h, and in November in the Azores.
