The windsurfing world has shown us, over the years, a wide variety of equipment, designed to please all categories of surfers. This has often led to confusion, with boards called freewave, freeslalom property, bump and jump, not always easily identifiable. Patrik Diethelm has definitively solved the problem, introducing a set of boards that are suitable for all purposes.
The F-Cross series, now in its second generation, can rightly be named “allround”, precisely because it can’ Meet, through the different litrays offered, the needs of those who want a solution suitable for different uses. Patrik and his staff intervened to modify the original F-Cross project, without upsetting it.
This set of boards has achieved, over the years, several awards, for the excellent qualities shown in very different conditions. The first thing that pops up in this new series 2020, it's the new look, much more colorful and lively than the usual Patrik standards. But it's not just color that's making the difference, the construction of these valuable achievements has been modified, introducing a mix of stiffness and flexibility. The blanket uses carbon/kevlar, to ensure more robustness, while for the hull the fracarena fiber allows to cushion even the most intractable chop. The outline is harmonious and does not make use of forms that are too exasperated or complicated.
Simplicity pays off in the way of driving pleasure, and here Patrik has only finished the best that the F-Crosses had shown before. Carene double concave, rocker more accentuated in small sizes, harmonic volume distribution, rounded stern to make it easier to curve, Thicker pads to better cushion jumps. A special mention is the decision to supply each board with a dedicated fin of high quality, always designed by the Patrik team.
