I met Kiki for the first time far away 1997 when I started writing my first articles for Windsurf Italia.
Then I resumed contact with her in the 2006 when we settled until 2010 a much more collaboration’ Consolidated.
And’ thanks to her and Paolo Cesari who learned the craft of windsurfing journalism. In addition to sharing their experience they always provided me with contacts, they have always supported me and above all offered their trust.
Kiki was THE MOTHER of Italian windsurfing, was THE ITALIAN WINDSURFING JOURNALISM!

After the closure of Windsurf Italia Kiki was committed to volunteering and despite her continuous commitments, whenever I needed her for a comparison or for an important decision, she is there’ always been!
8 years ago I give myself’ his personal collection of Windsurf Italia containing not only magazines, but also all the gadgets, slides, the licre and memories of the best years of our beloved sport.
Kiki had also helped me to prepare the live broadcast dedicated to Chico Forti and for that occasion I had invited her to participate in the episode … but her reserved character had prevented her from accepting my proposal …
I had then convinced her to give me an interview written to talk about the golden years of the sailboard, I had sent her the questions, but her constant commitments never gave her time to answer me.

Giacomo wrote to us, informing us that his mother, Kiki Guindani, the historical CHIEF EDITOR of Windsurf Italia, passed away last night.
Kiki was 62 years old and the night before she was found unconscious in her house due to sudden illness with cardiac arrest: the rush to the hospital and urgent care were unfortunately not enough to save her.

I met Kiki for the first time back in 1997 when I started writing my first articles for Windsurf Italia.
