A strange report of a windsurfing release. The author preferred to choose anonymity and in the newsroom we asked ourselves whether or not to publish it considering his style decidedly out of line.
But we were struck by the intensity of the emotion described and the sincerity in wanting to share it as well as touch in dealing with a feeling so demure and difficult to deal with on a stage like that of RIWmag that always appeals to windsurfers of all ages and both sexes.
From RIWmag's archive these photos are the ones that could perhaps fit the most into this story.
"The predictions were not the best and over the years I have learned not to make any more false illusions. Indeed, to the last I even hesitated whether to go to the beach or not.
Due to a thousand commitments I had only half an afternoon available but this time Eolo decided to manifest himself right in that window of time.
Undecided between the 5.3 and the 4.7, I chose the smaller sail given the hints of the wind to increase even if at the beginning the conditions were just right for the gliding and the body of water offered an endless exit.
Slowly wind and waves began to increase until they assumed the colors and light typical of the windy days of the spot.
And so on the edge to get out I found myself in front of a series of three waves that offered me the necessary ramps for three consecutive forward loops ... just a few days earlier I had seen a video with a sequence from the drone filming Philip Koster while in Pozo he closed four consecutive backloops.
The three forwards could have already satisfied my day but I never imagined what could happen to me shortly after ...
All of a sudden LEI arrived and immediately caught my eye ... her curves were still veiled but let's imagine their proropence ...
Wasn't that the sea corner where I usually do, but completely enraptured by her gaze I decided to transgress every rule and follow it ...
As soon as he began to show a little more his curves I started with a preliminary bottom turn and cut back but arrived on his knees at his feet, in the middle of the second bottom turn happened to me the unimaginable ...
All of a sudden shameless and provocative she put her curves bare showing me the depth of her intimacy...
At that exact moment, caught completely by surprise, as if I was in the perfect scene of a movie, I felt all the power released in my board and so without hesitation over I pushed my bow into her cavity and then with a pelvic momentum show her all my hull and she SBAM!
For a split second he hugged me and wrapped me and immediately after with his lip rejected with equal force and impetus so much that I had to work hard not to be undone.
Time to turn her head back and LEI had already vanished amid the foam as a liberating scream came out spontaneously and irrepressible from my diaphragm.
At that point I was sure, another like LEI in the same day I would not have seen her again and for short and fleeting that it had been that meeting I would have remembered for a long time, except for my whole life.
The next day out of all weather forecast the wind came back and even though caught off guard I went back into the water ... I approached all those who passed, in the hope that we can find LEI again and that we can still have an exchange as intense as that of the day before, But in vain ... I haven't met her since and I'm not hiding that this experience has profoundly changed my perspective on windsurfing!
As I tell this episode I'm still excited by the emotion I felt at that moment: I feel really flattered to have received such an unexpected gift and I am also proud to have managed to catch it ... even though I have only one little remorse ... that he couldn't ask for his name..."
